Fly DVD Ripper can copy DVD contents to the hard drive in three different modes: complete DVD disk, only the main movie, and split a DVD-9 in two DVD-5. Also the program backups the DVD into the hard disk, so user can watch anytime the videos, or burn them to DVD or CD discs using his (hers) own burning program.
The application converts DVD to VCD, SVCD, AVI DivX, MP3, iPod, PSP and WMV formats, maintaining a good audio and video quality. In addition, the program will detect DVD characteristics and select the corresponding settings so anybody can start ripping DVDs in a few minutes and with simple operations.
This software compress the DVD contents to make suitable for DVD-5 discs (4.7Gb), and the ripping speed is high, for a good quality output file.
Batch ripping is available from this program, by adding DVDs to the batch qeue and, once all the desired DVDs are listed, the application can be run in this mode by selecting "Start ripping in batch mode", and keep an eye on the operation by means of the "Batch controller".
Skins for the application can be selected at the "Theme" part of the Options window.
